Hundreds marched from Republic Square to Bastille Square to protest the war in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin's policies, and Le Pen's possible victory in the French elections.

Throughout the route, the crowd of participants with Ukrainian flags chanted anti-Putin, anti-war slogans and called presidential candidate Marine Le Pen an 'accomplice to Putin's war crimes.' A group of activists lay on the floor, pouring red paint symbolising blood.

The first election vote held on Sunday saw 12 candidates run against each other. Macron and Le Pen received the most votes, and voters will vote between them on Sunday, April 24th.
