Protesters gathered in front of the embassy of Brazil in Brussels on Monday to rally for the Amazon rainforest.
The organisers, Extinction Rebellion Belgium, were joined by various ecological groups as well as Brazilian citizens who danced and sang for the cause.
Protesters held banners with slogans such as "Stop ecocide Bolsanaro" and "I like my fries hot, not my forest."
The protest comes amid international outcry over the escalating fires in the Amazon rainforest that produces some 20 percent of the world's oxygen supply.
