00:54Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly on Wednesday.
Footage shows the two diplomats greeting each other, before engaging in talks alongside their respective delegations.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry's press service, Lavrov and Szijjarto co-ordinated on a number of aspects of bilateral co-operation and exchanged views on UN activities and current international issues, including the situation in Ukraine.
Lavrov arrived in New York to participate in the UN General Assembly events on Wednesday. The minister is also scheduled to participate in several bilateral and multilateral meetings, including events within the CSTO, BRICS, G20 and the Group of Friends in Defence of the Charter of the UN.
