Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with his Slovak counterpart Juraj Blanar on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly on Wednesday.
Footage shows the diplomats shaking hands before the talks began.
"It's a pleasure to meet you again," Blanar greeted his colleague.
"Same here," Lavrov replied.
The Russian Foreign Ministry's press service said the two sides discussed interactions between the two countries in the energy sector and exchanged views on current issues on the international agenda.
Lavrov arrived in New York on Wednesday to take part in events at the UN General Assembly. The minister is also scheduled to attend several bilateral and multilateral meetings, including those of the CSTO, BRICS, G20 and the Group of Friends in Defence of the Charter of the UN.
