Of course Taiwan doesn’t want to be in war, but politics are difficult to judge, it’s not for average citizens to decide, a lot of it is in the hands of big countries. If a war really erupts, then it’s not the politicians who are suffering, but the citizens," stressed resident Huang Tzi Shin.
Another resident Lu Wei Chen said the war has "a little chance" to happen. "I don’t think a war will start. But I’m still afraid that an unexpected issue would suddenly spark war. There might be unforeseeable situations, a little chance that can happen," resident shared.
