More footage emerged of Notre Dame burning, and its spire collapsing after the world-renowned cathedral caught fire and was severely damaged on Monday.

Flames can be seen towering over the roofs of buildings in the French capital, before the spire collapses to the cries of those looking on.

The cause of the blaze is not yet known.
