Austrian People's Party (OVP) candidate for Austrian chancellor Sebastian Kurz held his final rally in Vienna on Friday ahead of Sunday's snap election. The former chancellor arrived at his party's headquarters before setting off to tour the country one last time ahead of the upcoming vote.

"Those voting for us will get a consistent agenda in the fight against illegal migration; tax cuts; no new debts and responsible politics in our style,'' Kurz said. He added that this was "just the way people had experienced it in the last few years.''

Austria holds snap elections this Sunday, after the fall of the OVP-Freedom Party of Austria (FPO) coalition government earlier this year in the wake of the 'Ibiza Affair.'
