The prominent BLM activist, who has been particularly active since the killing of George Floyd, was critically injured on Sunday after she was shot in the head during an event in Southwark. The conditions under which she was injured remain unclear while Taking the Initiative Party allege that she was attacked.
The Met believes Johnson was not the intended target, nor was it related to her activism.
