Extinction Rebellion activists blocked streets in the centre of The Hague on Monday, attaching themselves to vehicles and gluing to the ground during sit-ins.
Police officers used special equipment to loosen the glue and detach people from the vehicles with some activists seen being carried away.
The protest was held as part of planned demonstrations ahead of the upcoming COP26 climate conference, scheduled for October 31 - November 12 in Glasgow.
