New NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and President of Finland Alexander Stubb hold a joint press conference at the alliance’s headquarters in Brussels on Tuesday, October 8.
Stubb is also expected to hold talks with the Chair of the NATO Military Committee Admiral Rob Bauer.
Rutte formally took office as the NATO secretary general on October, 1. He and Stubb last met in June, when Rutte was serving as prime minister of the Netherlands.
Finland became a member of NATO on April 4, 2023.
