Live from Tokyo as the full moon brightens up the night sky on Wednesday, February 12.
This month's full moon, commonly known as the 'Snow Moon' will reach peak illumination at 13:53 GMT.
The name is linked to the heavy snowfall usually associated with the month of February in the northern hemisphere.
In Japanese culture, full moons are highly significant. During the Heian period (794–1185), aristocrats would come together to recite poems, perform music and enjoy rice flour cakes (dango) shaped into balls, representing the moon.
