Live from outside the Buenos Aires courthouse on Tuesday, March 11, as seven healthcare professionals go on trial for alleged negligence in the death of Argentine football legend Diego Maradona.
Over the course of the four-month trial, more than 100 witnesses - including Maradona’s family members and longtime doctors - will testify.
Maradona passed away from a heart attack on November 25, 2020, at the age of 60, while recovering from brain surgery.
He was found unresponsive at a rented home in an exclusive Buenos Aires neighbourhood, just two weeks after being discharged from the hospital. His death followed years battling drug and alcohol addictions.
