Marine Le Pen arrives at the Paris courthouse as judges prepare to deliver their verdict in her party’s EU funds misuse trial, on Monday March 31.
Le Pen, the Rassemblement National party (RN), and 24 others stood trial for allegedly misusing €3 million in EU funds between 2004 and 2016, accused of using the money to pay party staff.
She faces fines, prison time and could even be declared ineligible to run for office for up to five years if convicted.
