SpaceX launches cargo mission to ISS with science experiments and supplies

SpaceX launches the 32nd commercial resupply mission to the International Space Station from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, on Monday, April 21.

An uncrewed Dragon capsule aboard a Falcon 9 rocket will carry around 6,700 pounds of cargo to the ISS, including food, tools, and over 30 scientific experiments.

These include robotic systems, atomic clocks for physics research, and improved air quality monitors for future lunar and Mars missions.

Part of SpaceX’s ongoing partnership with NASA, the mission uses reusable spacecraft for regular ISS deliveries.

Dragon capsules stay docked for months before returning to Earth by splashdown for recovery and reuse.
