Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz promised to 'win this thing for America' at a Milwaukee rally while presidential candidate and incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris hosted another event in Pittsburgh, as they wrapped up their campaign ahead of the election day on Tuesday.
"We're in the last two minutes of this game. This thing's tied, but we've got the damn ball. We got the ball. We got the best quarterback in Kamala Harris, and we got the best team in the people right here in this room. There's got to be a time folks, as we get that last yard done, as we get this thing over," Walz told the crowd in Milwaukee.
"I am not looking to score political points," Harris said to her supporters. "I am looking to make progress. I pledge to listen to those who will be impacted by the decisions I make. And we are not going back."
"Are you ready to make your voices heard? Do we believe in freedom? Do we believe in opportunity? Do we believe in the promise of America? And are we ready to fight for it? And when we fight, we win," she added.
Wisconsin and Pennsylvania are both key battleground 'swing states', along with Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina and Georgia.
The US elections takes place on Tuesday, November 5, with Harris facing off Republican candidate and former president Donald Trump.
