Football fans expressed their emotions about the Olympic final match between France and Spain, which took place in Paris on Friday.

Footage shows fans wrapped in national flags as well as various-colored jerseys to show their support for their favorite team near the Parc des Princes stadium. Some fans can also be seen playing on the streets of the French capital.

French fans congratulated the Spanish team on their victory, but expressed their disappointment with the outcome of the game. They noted that the French players are not 'bad players.'

"I'm disappointed because I think they deserved to win. The French team was really on the attack, they were really well organized to occupy the whole field. They defended the Spanish very well, we can't take that away from them, but that's not football," one of the fans said.

"So close! So close!" another fan added.

Meanwhile, the 'Red' team fans expressed joy over the Spanish players winning the game, describing it as 'incredible'.

"It was an amazing game," a fan commented, adding: "Amazing job, happy for it, so now we can celebrate!"

With Sergio Camello's two goals in extra time, Spain defeated the hosts in the Olympic football final, finishing the nerve-wracking game with a 5-3 score.

The victory brought the 'Reds' their first Olympic gold medal since the Barcelona Olympics in 1992.
