US Vice President and presidential nominee Kamala Harris claimed her rival Donald Trump was an 'unserious man' - and even said the DPRK was 'rooting' for him - during the final night of the Democratic Party Convention in Chicago on Thursday.
"In many ways, Donald Trump is an unserious man. But the consequences, but the consequences of putting Donald Trump back in the White House, are extremely serious," she claimed.
"I will never hesitate to take whatever action is necessary to defend our forces and our interests against Iran and Iran-backed terrorists," she continued. "I will not cosy up to tyrants and dictators like [DPRK leader] Kim Jong-Un, who are rooting for Trump."
She also alleged that those other leaders knew Trump was 'easy to manipulate with flattery and favours'.
"They know Trump won't hold autocrats accountable, because he wants to be an autocrat himself," she added.
Harris also repeated claims that her rival 'threatened to abandon NATO' and "encouraged Putin to invade our allies, said Russia could, quote, 'do whatever the hell they want'."
Trump's previous comments were related to nations which he claimed weren't paying their fair share of the NATO budget. He has also spoken of his relationship with the DPRK as one of the greatest achievements of his first term, saying he gets along 'very well' with Kim Jong-un.
Harris also defended Israel's right to self defence and said she was working with President Biden "to end this war" in Gaza. She also paid tribute to her husband Doug during the speech, and wished him 'Happy Anniversary'.
Harris became the nominee after incumbent Joe Biden quit the race amid mounting concerns over his health and a much-criticised debate with Trump.
Her Republican rival described her candidacy as a 'coup' against Biden, after the current president continued to insist he was best placed to win in the days and weeks before he stepped aside. The presidential election takes place on November 5.
