Description

A demonstration under the conservative slogan 'Stop the Steal,' was organised by Donald Trump supporters and led by right-wing podcaster Nicholas Fuentes in Lansing, Michigan on Wednesday.

The protesters believe the election was stolen by the mail-in ballot process, which helped President-elect Joe Biden take the lead in the US presidential vote nationwide. No viable evidence has yet been provided for these claims.

Protesters chanted popular right-wing slogans such as: "All lives matter," as well as chanting for: "Ten more years," of Donald Trump in power.

"We're on the streets now. And, we're in front of the state Capitols and we're not leaving until the state legislators allocate their electoral votes to President Trump for another four years," roared rally organiser Nicholas Fuentes.

Fuentes was involved in a tense situation after being confronted by a counter-protester of colour who had made a comment about the cold weather. "Return to the equator where it's warm," stated Fuentes as his crowd laughed along with him.

Wednesday's demonstration in Lansing was the second of three large 'Stop the Steal' rallies organised for this week. The group rallied in Madison, Wisconsin on Tuesday and have another demonstration planned in Washington DC on Saturday.
