٠٠:٠٣:٤١The 119th birthday anniversary of Trinh Thi Khong, a Vietnamese citizen, was held in the town of Long Khanh, Dong Nai Province in southern Vietnam on Sunday, which also saw her as reportedly the oldest person living in the world at the moment.
Footage shows Khong's birthday party being held with her grand family, as well as her children and grandchildren helping her in daily activities.
Born on June 14, 1905, Trinh Thi Khong has seven children along with up to 150 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she is currently living with her second daughter, Do Thi Ninh, in Long Khanh town.
"Grandchildren and great-grandchildren are countless. There are a lot. Too many of them. Already countless of them are gathering here," shared Ninh.
Ninh also remarked on her mother's health, stating that she had no particular illnesses, except for one occasion when she fell and 'died for a whole day.'
"She was not cold yet then, her body was still warm. When we checked her pulse, there was no pulse, no breath, we couldn't check her pulse on the neck," said Khuong, a son of Khong. "I am a medic, so I took care of her during that time, and she was hiccupping a few times before 'reviving'. We all screamed out of happiness, we left all the things outside. We let her rest, checked her pulse, and there were some pulses from her hand."
Following the 'revival', Khong's hair even turned black again, to which her family was greatly amazed, and the woman's condition had been stable since then.
Khong's birth year is registered in official records and acknowledged by congratulations letters from officials, and her life narrative has sparked significant interest among the public. Efforts are reportedly underway to have her officially recognised by the Guinness World Records as the world's oldest living person.
