Protesters rallied in Chicago on Saturday, following a call to action to participate in another national day of protest by The National Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression.
A car caravan started from two locations, Benito Juarez High School and 17th and Canal St., before joining in the rally at the Federal Plaza, where dozens of protesters were seen holding banners and chanting slogans.
A vehicle with an installation showing US President Donald Trump and several other US politicians in a cage with a sign "Lock them up", could also be seen in the convoy.
Demonstrators protested against police brutality and racial repression, and demanded the arrest and conviction of the police officers that killed Breonna Taylor, Daniel Prude, Jacob Blake, Miguel Vega, and Trayford Pellerin.
"We are fighting a system that will not only try to kidnap us, that will not only try to accuse us of shit that we didn't do. We are also fighting the system that is neglecting us in a global pandemic," said one of the protesters at the rally.
Similar actions took place in New York City, Milwaukee and Minneapolis among other locations.
