Hundreds gathered in front of the Home Office Headquarters in central London Thursday night to protest against the death of 27 migrants yesterday in the English Channel.
The protesters directed their anger towards the immigration policies of the UK government with one saying: "We are all saddened by that because this is a result of Priti Patel as the Home Secretary and her policy and the violence that is enacted against migrants."
At least 27 people have died trying to cross the English Channel after their boat capsized. The disaster has been called the biggest loss of life in the Channel to date.
