Description

Migrants were seen scrambling for logs in a camp near Bruzgi, near the Polish border, on Sunday, as the refugee crisis continued.

Belarusian guards appeared to hold back crowds of migrants as a log shipment was delivered to the camp, with several attempting to climb the vehicle.

Makeshift wooden shelters could be seen scattered throughout the camp, with families seen huddled by log fires to fend off the cold weather.

On Saturday, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko asked to rationalise and organise the delivery and distribution of humanitarian aid to the refugees at the border.

According to Polish police, a group of around 50 migrants attempted to enter from Belarus overnight between Saturday and Sunday, with 22 being detained.

In a separate incident several hours later, police stated that a group of migrants attacked officers with stones whilst trying to cross the border, resulting in one helmet being damaged.
