Thousands of Hungarian football fans marched through Budapest on Saturday, hours before the national football team took to the pitch in their match against France in the UEFA Euro 2020 Group F.

The rally, organised by the Carpathian Brigade ultras group, took place between the city’s Heroes' Square near the UEFA official festival zone and the Puskas Arena, where the game is set to take place in front of a full stadium capacity of around 67,000 spectators.

In the first match of the Group F, Hungary lost 3-0 against reigning European champions Portugal, while world champions France secured a 1-0 victory against Germany.​
