Atletico Madrid fans shared their thoughts on the recent deal between the Spanish club and Saudi Arabian airline Riyadh Air, which bought the rights to own the name of the football team's stadium, now called 'Riyadh Air Metropolitano.'

"I think it's 10 years, and from what I've read, the offer is worth it. The main thing is that we can last 10 years, that it works well, and that it makes us earn money," said one of the fans.

Another fan stated that even though the official name of the stadium has changed, the home of the 'Rojiblancos' will always be Metropolitan.

"The advertising name they give it is a business. It raises money that we can use to sign players or for whatever we need at the club," she said.

According to local media reports, the deal between the Spanish team and the Saudi Arabian airline will last until 2033.

"It's an honour to become the naming partner for the Riyadh Air Metropolitano and extend our partnership with Atletico de Madrid until 2033. Both organisations are driven to succeed at the highest level and having our name on such an iconic stadium will elevate the awareness of Riyadh Air across the sporting world and beyond," said Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air.

The Spanish club did not disclose the amount of money that the airline business paid to own the name of one of the Europe's most modern and iconic stadiums.
