Leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) consisting of Germany, Italy, France, the UK, Japan, the US, and Canada, along with EU representatives and leaders from guest countries including Australia, India, South Africa, and South Korea are attending the second day of the annual summit to focus on global issues and policies on Saturday, June 12.
The US held the G7 Presidency in 2020 but did not convene a Leaders' Summit due to the global pandemic. For this edition, the UK aims to unite members and guests to discuss the post-pandemic recovery and environmental policies for the future.
