Description

Daredevils in Hangzhou, eastern China, were seen enjoying the world's longest high-altitude glass water slide on Sunday.

Footage includes stunning drone footage of the huge construction winding its way through the mountains, as well as people in protective gear sliding down on inflatable tubes.

"I was a bit scared, and my friend and I were screaming," said Zhang. "But we truly enjoyed it, especially when the water splashed on our faces. It felt so cool and refreshing."

"I was quite worried at first, but once you're 'floating', you don't feel anything," added Xie, another visitor.

The water slide, located in the Tianzi Scenic Area in Tonglu County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is approximately 2,266.515 metres (around 7,448.5 ft) long.

Constructed primarily from glass, this attraction has been officially recognised by the World Record Certification (WRCA) as the world's longest glass water slide in January 2021.
