Attendees flocked to the Showa Kinen Park in Tokyo on Monday to enjoy the flower blossoms under the autumn sky as a part of the ongoing Cosmos Flower Festival.
Footage features a field with millions of pink and yellow flowers blooming as well as visitors enjoying the view and taking pictures.
"They are very beautiful. In spring, we have cherry blossoms in Japan, and in summer, we have Himari and other flowers. But in autumn, we usually have a small chance to see flowers, so I am glad we came here today," said one of the attendees Kawai.
"It is beautiful, isn't it? I come here every week, and the blooming of the flowers changes as well. It's a lot of fun, no matter when I come," shared his emotions another attendee Yamanaka.
Another park visitors Manama and Yurina highlighted that there are 'not many places' in Japan that have 'such an abundance of blooms' all over the place.
Cosmos Flower Festival is scheduled to take place from September 14 to October 20 as the period of blossom has come. This year the festival includes several blooming areas as well as a number of collaborative events with the National Musashino Hills Park, according to the festival's official website.
From mid-September, the park's hilly meadows are covered with millions of cosmos flowers, and the multi-coloured landscape continues well into October. Cosmos flowers are a highlight of Japan's autumn months and are often referred to as 'autumn cherry blossoms' due to their colour.
