Footage filmed on Wednesday features young artists painting a journalist, nurse and paramedic coming out from under the rubble trying to salvage victims trapped there.
"Today, a mural titled 'Real Heroes' is being painted by my friends and me. This mural mirrors the suffering of the Palestinians, first and foremost, individuals who made significantly strenuous effort to share the real status quo worldwide, they are civil defence, paramedic, nurse and journalist," Malak Bedwan, a visual artist, explained.
Another artist, Minah Hamoudah added that the drawing depicts a person, whether a nurse, journalist, or paramedic, coming out from under the rubble attempting to rescue the victims, with missing persons still trapped under the rubble.
Fighting continues in Gaza for a sixth month after Hamas launched an unprecedented attack on southern Israel on October 7, killing 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and kidnapping over 200, according to Israeli officials.
