UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan performed Eid Al-Fitr prayers alongside hundreds of worshippers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
Footage shows the Sheikhs arriving at the mosque and performing the prayers as crowds of worshippers gathered inside and outside the mosque. Sheikh Omar Habtoor Al-Derei was also seen delivering the sermon after the prayer.
The event was attended by several Sheikhs, ministers, and high-ranking officials. Dr El-Derai, Director of the Ifta Department at the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments and Director General of the Emirates Council for Fatwa, delivered the Eid Al-Fitr sermon.
