“We have done lots of initiatives to ensure that our stray cats are taken care of,” said Faida Sabouneh, Food Safety and Sustainability Manager at Expo City Dubai.
“We have a placed feeding stations all across the city to ensure that they are fed, they are hydrated and they have like a safe location when it’s warm when it’s windy when it’s cold,” she added.
According to reports, around 80 stray cats have found a home at Expo City Dubai, which also covers the costs of neutering the animals and veterinary visits.
Expo City Dubai was established in 2021 and includes various attractions, offices, entertainment facilities, restaurants, cafes, and gyms. The City also includes the Dubai Exhibition Center which provides world-class services to host exhibitions and conferences.
