    Footage shows the German chancellor being presented with the two gifts and thanking Erdogan.

    German Chancellor Angela Merkel arrived in Istanbul on Thursday for talks with her Turkish host and counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan after 19 January Berlin Libya talks, an agreement on the fate of refugees is expected to be top of the agenda.
