Description

Footage taken on Monday reveals smooth traffic flow in the streets of Daraa, where the revolution was born ten years ago.

The footage shows the Syrian flag waving in the city's skies as well as Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's pictures hung over some of the streets.

It was on those same streets that the first anti-government demonstration took place. It wasn't until seven years later, that the Syrian forces, backed by Russia, were able to recapture the city.
