Description

Migrants continued to settle in at a repurposed logistics centre near the Bruzgi checkpoint on the Polish-Belarusian border, Friday.

Several dozen migrants were seen lining up outside a van with hot shawarma and drinks. There were so many people wanting to buy fast food that the migrants caused a jam at the dispensing window.

A mobile exchange office has been set up for those stranded at the border. In addition, several boxes of soft toys were delivered for children in the logistics centre.

Earlier, some of the migrants previously stranded at the border took a special flight from Minsk airport to Iraq. According to Majid al-Kilani, consul of the Iraqi embassy in Russia, 431 people voluntarily registered for the flight.
