Description

A large number of Extinction Rebellion (XR) activists dressed in animal and colourful outfits staged an act of civil "disobedience" followed by a die-in in Berlin on Sunday, as they called for climate justice.

Protesters busted a few moves to the best disco hits of the seventies in the German capital as they staged the protest. Some of the participants were spotted dressed up in red, reportedly depicting the blood of all the species that has been shed on Earth.

According to reports, the dance protest started in Hermannplatz, passed by Kottbusser Tor, Oberbaumbruecke and ended in RAW, Friedrichshain.

Sunday's demo was part of a week-long act of "civil disobedience" called "Rebellion Wave" all across Germany which started on June 15.
