The European Union official chairing the Iran nuclear talks and EU coordinator Enrique Mora acknowledged 'the finalised sense of urgency in bringing JCPOA back to life' as the first day of the talks came to a close.

This was the seventh round of negotiations, which were paused last summer due to the Iranian elections. The talks happened behind closed doors.

According to confirmed reports, Iranian diplomats emphasised Tehran's willingness to reach a 'fair agreement' while Russian and EU diplomats sounded their optimism after today's meeting.
