Description

Panda 'Ding Ding' from the Moscow Zoo has welcomed the new winter season with enthusiasm. Footage released Thursday shows the animal enjoying a winter day, frolicking and playing with the snow in the enclosure.

Zoo visitors were also able to share Ding Ding's joy at the new season as they filmed her burying herself in drifts and tumbling around, clinging to a tree trunk.

Pandas Ding Ding and Ru Yi appeared at the zoo in the capital after Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Russia in 2019. Then-President Xi leased the stunning creatures to Moscow for 15 years as part of the so-called 'panda diplomacy.'
