Members of the Iranian Parliament join in unison for chants of "death to America" in support of the recent protests in the US, the chants occurred at a parliament hearing in Tehran on Sunday.

"To show respect for the movement of the oppressed in the US, I ask you to stand for five seconds and stay silent for fifteen seconds chant ‘death to America’ to show our respect," asked a member of the parliament to his fellow MPs during the session.

Protests and demonstrations have taken place across the world showing support to the movement that began in the US in reaction to the killing of George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man who died while in police custody in Minneapolis on May 25.

Four officers involved in the incident have since been fired. The officer who knelt on Floyd's neck with second-degree murder and manslaughter, while the other three were charged with aiding and abetting.
