Presenting a piece of an apparent downed Iranian UAV, Netanyahu condemned Iran as “the true patron of terror in the Middle East,” accusing Tehran of supporting and arming Hezbollah, Hamas and the Islamic Jihad in Gaza.

Netanyahu thanked Maas for Germany’s support on behalf of the Israeli people.

Maas responded to the Israeli PM, “you can count on us,” assuring him of Germany’s unwavering support of Israel.

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas arrived in Israel Thursday addressing calls of a cease-fire in the recent Israeli-Palestinian conflict while simultaneously assuring Israel of Germany’s support. During his trip he was also due to meet with President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas.
