Another resident, Kathrine, said she was excited that Kamala Harris was set to become the first female vice-president in US history, saying that "it feels like a weight is lifted off our shoulders."
Robin, another local woman expressed similar sentiments, saying that she was "so excited" and also felt like a "weight has been lifted."
