Description

You can sleep while touching the water with these floating hammocks in the ANA Intercontinental Beppu Resort & Spa in Oita. Footage filmed at the resort on Thursday shows the relaxing capabilities of the new technology.

Many of the existing floats are often used to sleep on while floating on water. However, the 'Relamock' uses a rustproof net as the central material, so you can sleep while touching the water. As you sleep while immersed in the water, the swaying sensation can be expected to have a highly relaxing effect.

"The Relamock itself is made of that netting and a special material called polyester polyethylene foam. By using this material, which is called 'WP,' on the outside covering of it, we were able to feel the best relaxation," explained Kotegawa CEO Masaji Kotegawa on Thursday.

There is no need to fill it with air, and you don't have to worry about losing air. You can sleep for a long time without losing your sense of balance, and it does not sink like a floatation ring.

"In the past, people would lie down beside the pool or get on top of the water (with a floatation device). But now, with Relamock, you can relax while soaking yourself in the water, and if it is a hot spring, it will be the best relaxation," said Masaji Kotegawa.

The float is made of a soft and comfortable material that is also used for the seat of wheelchairs.

"When I relax in a hot spring like this, wrapped in Relamock, all the tiredness flies away, and I feel that I could have such a relaxing time. It's such a great feeling." commented Japanese model, Airi Okubo.

It can also be used safely by children of elementary school age and above.
