Description

Several hundred Israeli right-wing protesters gathered by the Damascus Gate in East Jerusalem on Tuesday to hold a 'Flag March.'

Participants were seen holding Jewish flags as they rallied, celebrating the capture of Jerusalem in the aftermath of the 1967 Six-Day War, and with some chanting 'Death to Arabs.'

"Despite whet they think, we will not leave, it's our house. Whoever wants to live with us peacefully is welcome, the ones that don't will probably have to live behind the fence," former Knesset member for the Likud party, Oren Hazan, commented.

Some Palestinians, dissatisfied with the march, clashed with Israeli security forces during the event, leading to arrests and injuries.

The right-wing Jewish march was originally set to take place last month as part of 'Jerusalem Day' festivities, but was cancelled amid the conflict with Hamas.
