The Taliban met with Turkish officials and Foreign Ministry Mevlut Cavusoglu in Ankara on Thursday, in the first diplomatic meeting between Turkey and Afghanistan since the Taliban took over Kabul in August.
The Afghan delegation was led by Amir Khan Muttaqi, the acting Taliban foreign minister. The visit to Turkey comes after Taliban rulers held talks with the US and European Union delegates in Doha this week.
