Fans were spent after the German national football team squeezed its way into the Euro 2020 round of 16 following a 2-2 draw with Hungary.

Supporters of the 'Mannschaft' in a Berlin watch party on Wednesday rode a rollercoaster of emotions as Germany came close to being eliminated from the group stage by a strong Hungary side. Leon Goretzka's 84-minute goal however shot the team into the knockout rounds in style.

"There were a lot of emotions at the table," said a fan, with another adding the experience was 'traumatic'.

Germany has now its work cut out as it will face England at London's Wembley on June 29.
