On March 20, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said that more than 9,000 military personnel and 75 pieces of military hardware and aviation would take part in the parade in Moscow.
The Victory Day Parade is traditionally held on May 9 in Moscow's Red Square, as well as in locations around Russia.
The press service of the Moscow government reported that road traffic in the centre and south-east of the city was restricted temporarily due to the parade rehearsal.
