Al Nahyan undertook an official visit to Moscow to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin ahead of the BRICS summit. According to the Kremlin press service, the two leaders will discuss prospects for developing bilateral co-operation and current issues on the international agenda, including the situation in the Middle East and North Africa.
The 16th BRICS Summit is scheduled for October 22-24. World leaders from more than 24 countries are expected, with delegations from over 30 nations, for one of the major economic, political and cultural events of the decade.
