According to the Russian Emergencies Ministry (EMERCOM), more than 30 personnel had been dispatched to the scene.
The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency’s (Rosaviation) spokesman Artem Korenyako stated via Telegram that two flight recorders had already been found.
Earlier, Russian EMERCOM reported that all three crew members on board were killed in the crash, while there were no other casualties on the ground. The United Aircraft Corporation, which manufactures the Sukhoi Superjet 100, reported that the airliner entered service in 2014 and had been making a transfer flight to Moscow Vnukovo airport.
On Saturday, the agency reported that the wreckage found had been sent for examination. Investigations are being carried out in the area of the factory where the plane had been undergoing maintenance.
The Investigative Committee of Russia initiated a criminal case related to the 'violation of air transport safety regulations'. The Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) will lead the investigation into the crash, as confirmed by the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency.
