    The 16th Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival's opening ceremony took place on Friday at Red Square in Moscow.

    Footage shows Russian and foreign military bands wearing national costumes and playing musical instruments.

    The festival press service said that the performance of the Chinese orchestra was one of the ceremony's highlights, as the servicemen played the national military march and a famous Russian folk-style song 'Kalinka'.

    Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival has been held in Moscow every year since 2006.
