Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido concluded his tour in Miami on Saturday with an event attended by Venezuelan citizens living in the US.

Guaido began his speech chanting "long live free Venezuela" and "long live free Latin America," and also called for the unity of citizens throughout Latin America for "freedom" and "democracy."

One of Guaido supporters emphasized the significance of the opposition leader being in Miami so that "the whole world understands" the situation in Venezuela, and that they need "help because the government has weapons."

Before going to the US, Guaido had travelled through Europe meeting with politicians in Spain, the United Kingdom, Belgium and France.
