Another round of fences was set up outside the Brooklyn Center Police Department on Thursday amid ongoing demonstrations to protest the fatal police shooting of Daunte Wright.

Workers could be seen setting up fences outside the precinct guarded by National Guard officers.

20-year-old Daunte Wright was pulled over on Sunday afternoon but re-entered the vehicle and continued driving, after which a female police officer fatally fired at him.

Wright crashed his car a few blocks away and was later pronounced dead.

The incident took place about 10 miles (16 kilometres) from the spot where George Floyd, another Black man, was killed during an arrest in May last year.
