The coaches of Burkina Faso and Senegal discussed their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) semi-final, which Senegal won 3-1, during a post match presser in Yaounde on Wednesday.
"What I will remember of this adventure is that it was beautiful," said Burkina Faso's Kamou Malo. "With our path, ending in semi-finals against a team like Senegal, I'm not satisfied with that, no, I would've liked to win tonight, but I also think, for someone who wants to move forward, this way we can know the obstacles that can present themselves."
Senegal's Aliou Cisse said of the match, "we put in place a strategy, we put in place a plan, and the strength of this team made us step back and in the second half we had to re-evaluate things, the second half was hard."
Senegal will face either Egypt or Cameroon in the final on Sunday.
